Hi - I'm Jason
I want to be your photographer.
- I've been a photographer all of my life. Over 20 years of that as a dedicated, committed, and full time wedding photographer.
- I live in Surrey, in a house in the woods with my wife and 3 teenage children, dogs and cats. They are everything to me. It's all very perfect which isn't lost on me. Gratitude is a thing.
- I didn't drink coffee until I was 49. Now I consider myself to be a connoisseur, obviously.
- I might take myself far too seriously, but not all of the time.
- I play the guitar - and a bit of piano. I'm always creating.
- I just want people to be nice to each other. "Life's too short" could be my catchphrase.
- I genuinely think that the magical story of two people getting together and wanting to have a wedding to celebrate love is an actual privilege and that it represents a all that is good in a world that is usually upside down. I think that, alongside creating and nurturing little human beings, it's the most positive and optimistic thing that people can do. I'm here for that.
- I don't use A.I. in any part of my production. It's a matter of principle. I genuinely believe that a wedding is a fundamentally unadulterated imperfect human experience that shouldn't be perfected and enhanced by robots.

I. Over 20 Years of Wedding Photography Experience
I don't just turn up and get paid - I'm invested in why a wedding works and what my role is in the day.
Having the experience that will make the difference isn't just about technical ability and it certainly isn't about the gear. It's about knowing people.
It's about reading the room - anticipating the moves that people make, and understanding what happens next.
Living and operating inside a loose and seemingly chaotic event is when I do some of my best work, even if it is planned to the minute.
II. I take great photos.
It might sound obvious, but this is more about being present and enthusiastic about your wedding, and who you are, and what matters. This is the easy part for me. It's second nature.
I'm unobtrusive when I need to be, and I get involved and organise - guide people when it's necessary. I have the technical know-how to adapt to any situation, and any lighting.
I'm all about the natural essence of life - lots of dynamic and candid photos, with those really great feeling 'magazine worthy' professional portraits to give you a real balance.
III. Deliver.
I'm there for you during your wedding, but that all begins when we start talking about this day that is coming into focus. If anything, I might come across as a bit over-excited about your wedding, but that's just the way I power up and invest.
To me it's a journey that we take together. That's why it's important to me to not listen to the wedding industry when it comes to things like putting my prices up. I like my prices where they are - designed to be accessible and lower than they 'should' be.
I'd rather not over-charge, but instead gto the extra mile and over deliver instead.

My photography is a rich and dynamic blend of natural styling, great portraiture with drama and storytelling, and candid, fluid capture that really picks up on the speed and flow of your wedding.
It's a really vibrant mix of natural colour and documentary style black and white, and the key to it all is that I adapt to your preference and your timings to make sure that you end up with a true representation of your wedding, your way.
A Couple of Decades of Experience...
The best thing about having photographed around 1000 weddings is knowing how it all works, while knowing that I haven't seen it all - does that make sense?
Technically, as a photographer, I am in the pocket of all things wedding photography. That should be a given and in the end it's really always all about the people. It's such a personal event and all couples are different, and after 20 years I'm still getting surprised and I'm still evolving along with the weddings and the people I photograph.
