Experience

This doesn't just mean that I've shot 1000 weddings. More importantly, I know how different weddings can be, even if we think we're doing the same thing as the next couple.

In over 2 decades of being a wedding photographer, I've learned that everything is important, but it's really all about your people in time and place and the party that defines the celebration.

The Style

I take a natural look at your wedding, and my photographic style is a refined mix of Documentary, Candid, and Editorial photography.

You'll need this mix if you want your wedding pictures to flow with storytelling goodness, and drama in the love story.

I love great portraits, but they're always built around what works for you and how it fits in with your timings. Nothing is over-posed, and it all feels right.

It's total energy and magic when you see your pictures.

'til The End of Time...

Most wedding I shoot are jam packed, and I'm there for that.

I start early, and I finish late, and I don't 'Clock watch'.

It's very simple to me - It means I can merge myself into the day. I get better pictures because there's no pressure on you or your guests to get through the photos quickly.

The best thing that happens is that people often assume that I'm just one of your guests - I'm not, but it's a compliment all the same.

I'm all in.

I've always been a photographer, and I'm a bit of a nerd about it, technically speaking.

I know my stuff.

20 years ago I found a way to make my photography fly - I fell in love with the greatest ongoing love story there is. I think it's the most powerful statement two lovers can make - I really do, and I've learned that I'm not shooting for me - I'm shooting to service that privilege - that story that I just totally get.

Our process for getting you the best photo record of your day

Let's talk about how this works

I've been photographing weddings for over 20 years and I've seen a lot. It's important to get to the heart of what a wedding is and sometimes know to expect the unexpected.

A lot of my photography is what people might call 'candid' - which is really about people watching and anticipating a narrative as the day moves along.

It's a really natural way of photographing your wedding - everybody is relaxed, and we get better pictures.

And yes, there should be a few more 'editorial' style portraits of you two

Book a Session

All day wedding photography means exactly that...

Your wedding won't be just one thing. It won't be just about you two in the middle of it all, (but weirdly, it also will).

It really is about people - your beutiful guests, your friends and family, coming together to celebrate a hugely important love story - yours.

They're there for you, and I'm there to witness and observe that.

Working all day without time restrictions gives me a chan e to let that evolve naturally, and it takes any pressure off of you

Work with Me

Trust me, I know how much you want to hold on to every second

WELCOME TO THE SLOW BURN

Trust me, I know how much you want to hold on to every second

Your photographs are going to be with you for a very long time. I make sure that I photograph everything from the detail, to the styling, to the shoes, and as many interactions and all of the fun stuff that happens that I can get my eyeballs on.

Sometimes a wedding is about the generations in our families,, old to young, and your wedding photos take on all of the significance of bringing that together, for you now, and who knows? - Maybe for your children to look back on in years to come.

Let's Talk

Communication is key

Finding out about what's important to you at this early stage is everything to me. Knowing what moves you, what makes you tick, and even finding out a little about your very unique love story - it all goes towards creating a set of pictures that actually mean something very personal to you.

You don't need a new 'best friend' - that's not what I'm here for. In fact I know that not being in your inner circle can help me be more spontaneous and creative.. I'm always adapting to different groups of people, and fitting in exactly where I'm needed. It's what it's all about to me.

If you want to fill me in on your plans so far then hit me up - let's talk about it.
